How to Plant Guide:
- | Sunflower | Peashooter | Peashooter | Wall |- This means: Plant Sunflowers in the 1st column from the left, Peashooters in the 2nd and 3rd columns, then Wall-Nuts in the 4th column.
Power-Ups
- Using Power-Ups is optional, unless it is highly recommended.

Gold Bloom - Step 1
- Formation: | Sunflower | Rotobaga | Rotobaga | Rotobaga |- PF: Rotobaga vs final wave of zombies from portals.
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use them to stall enemies from the start, then spam them in-front of your Rotobagas to protect them from charging zombies.
- Chili Bean: vs tough zombies like the newspaper zombie.
- Blover: vs flying zombies.
- Cherry Bomb: Use if needed.
Gold Bloom - Step 2
- Formation: | Sunflower | Snapdragon | Snapdragon | Snapdragon |- PF: None
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use them to stall enemies from the start, then spam them in-front of your Snapdragons to disrupt enemies.
- Gold Bloom: Use whenever possible.
- Thyme Warp: If zombies are way too close to your plants, just use this to send them back.
- Chili Bean/Cherry Bomb: Use if needed.
Gold Bloom - Step 3 (Protect the Flowers)
- Formation: | Refer to the screenot below |
- PF: Pepper-pult or Snapdragon vs Wizards and the Gargantuar.
- Stallia and Stunion: Use to stall enemies, place them in-front of your Wall-nuts too.
Gold Bloom - Step 4 (Protect the Flowers)
- Formation: | Repeater | Repeater | None | Mine | Mine |- PF: Any
- Jalapeno: Conserve and only use if zombies are about to reach the flowers.
- Potato Mine: vs tough zombies.
Gold Bloom - Step 5 (Produce 3000+ Sun)
- Formation: | Primal Sun | Lightning Reed | Lightning Reed | None | Spike | Spike |- PF: Lightning Reed vs buckethead zombies.
- Grave Buster: Spam to get more Sun and to clear those graves.
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use to stall enemies. Place them in-front of your Lightning Reeds to protect them.
- Blover: Just to blow away that parrot.
Gold Bloom - Step 6 (Survive with Given Plants)
- Formation: | Kernel-pult | Snapdragon | Snapdragon | Snapdragon |- PF: Snapdragon vs final wave of tough zombies, and the Gargantuar.
- Gold Bloom: Use whenever possible, the Sun that you cen get from it is enough. Just start with Kernel-pults first.
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use to stall enemies.
- Blover: vs flying zombies.
Gold Bloom - Step 7 (Protect the Flowers)
- Formation: | Citron | Repeater | Star | Star | Star | Any |- PF: Any vs final wave and the Gargantuar.
- Potato Mine and Extra Repeaters: Plant them in-front of your Starfruits to disrupt zombies.
Gold Bloom - Step 8 (Protect the Flowers)
- Formation: | Primal Sun (3 only) | Primal Pea | Primal Pea | Primal Wall |- Plant on Golden Tiles first.
- PF: Primal Pea vs group of tough zombies (if needed).
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use to stall enemies.
- Blover: vs flying zombies.
- Cherry Bomb: Best vs group of tough zombies.
- Other Notes: Once the formation above is complete, replace and fill up the 1st column with Primal Peashooters.
Gold Bloom - Step 9
- Formation: | Fire Pea | Fire Pea | Fire Pea | Chard Guard |- Tile Turnip: Place them all in the 1st column.
- PF: Any Fire Pea on the 1st column vs all zombies.
- Chard Guard: Plant over them to regenerate their leaves.
- Extra Fire Peas can be place in-front of your Chard Guards to disrupt zombies.
Gold Bloom - Step 10 (Survive with Given Plants)
- Formation: | Primal Sun | Snapdragon | Snapdragon | Primal Wall |- PF: Use it to refresh Cherry Bomb's seed packet.
- Gold Bloom: Use whenever possible.
- Stallia and Iceberg Lettuce: Use to stall enemies.
- Cherry Bomb: Use in-case some zombies managed to fly above your Walls. Best vs Octopus zombies and the Gargantuar.
- Primal Wall-nut: Plant over them to regenerate, especially vs the Gargantuar.
