– What is Facebook? –

       Facebook is a Social Networking Site (SNS). A website where everyone can connect and share personal profiles and updates to family, friends and other users. It connects people around the world.

       Personal profiles, Facebook walls, Upload photos and videos, Chat or Send messages are just some of it’s cool features. Users may also join groups/pages of common interest as a fan/member like school, college, workplace, religion, or maybe personal preferences and more.

       Now how about Games? Online games?. Yes, they do have online games and I do play Facebook Games.  This is the reason why I made this blog, to share my thoughts and help you all out. ^_^V

– Facebook Games –

       Thanks to Facebook for supporting online gaming, now we all have something to do while doing our stuff. But what kind of games? They have a wide pool of games that you can choose from. Games like Board, Card, Role Playing, Virtual World, Word and Others.

     – Action & Arcade –  games that is more action packed than other games, more clicking reflexes, and precisions.

     – Board – Like what the word says, games involving boards like chess, checkers and more.

     – Card – Poker!, Black Jack and more gambling games.

   – Role Playing – Take part of the game story and advance through many obstacles. Customize and plan your strategy well to succeed.

    – Virtual World – Imagination will take you to a world you want to be. Become a farmer, a chef, a pet,  a pirate and more. Similar to simulation games.

     – Word – Games that involves words like IQ tests, Puzzles and more.

       Most of the games are fun to play and would really make you THINK. One common activity that you would encounter while playing Facebook Games is  the recruitment of allies or friends. This is one of the features of Facebook Games that makes it popular, because you can play all your favorite games with your friends and family’s help. Help you can get through gifts, assists and more while doing stuffs. Games would also allow you to publish any accomplishments you have made straight to your wall to inform your friends and family on what games you are currently playing.        Players are divided into two types. Cash Players and Non-Cash Players. All Facebook Games will offer cash only items where it can only be bought and used by paying real money. Cash Players will have the upper hand and will have more access to the game’s features if available.

       This is where Game Balancing comes in. They should make the game enjoyable and a fair as possible to both type of players because some players that are not satisfied with the game balance for Cash and Non-Cash Players tend to stop playing the game and find another one.

       Facebook Games are not just popular to men/boys but also to women/girls. I do believe that games played at Facebook have higher frequency of women/girls players compared to other games.
