Lumia Saga: DPS Assassin Stats Build, Skills, and Talents Guide

Here’s a guide and tips on how to build up Assassin’s stats, skills and talents in the action adventure MMORG mobile game app Lumia Saga.

Assassin is a melee type character that uses physical attacks and skills to deal massive damages to enemies. Popular among players that prefers to play using combo attacks.

  Trading to get Gold!
   – As much as possible, avoid tanking and taking damages, go to the sides or back of the Boss to avoid direct attacks for example. Manually dodge strong AoE attacks, learn their attack patterns.

   – NOTE: Set the correct auto cast trigger conditions to help you spam skills! Please note that in-order for this build to work, you must follow the recommended parameters below.

   – Assassin’s normal attacks have decent DPS, mainly used to regain Energy to spam Rend and Bone Piercer, do extra damages, and to obtain Combo Points.    – Rend = Auto-cast (Energy is higher than 32% or Lower)
   – Decent DPS skill and your main source of Combo Points.
   – Follow Auto-cast setup above to spam Rend when Energy is equal or higher than 330 (Bone Piercer 200 + Rend 130). This setup will always keep enough Energy for your Bone Piercer.

   – How To Adjust (according to your current Energy Reduction):

   – Add Rend’s and Bone Piercer’s current Energy requirements, then divide by 10, -1 = Rend’s Auto-cast setting.

   – By default, with Gear Up and Vigor talents, you should be able to spam Rend every after 2 normal attacks (+Vigor’s 30 Energy per sec) and do 4 quick attacks to regain Energy for the next Bone Piercer. With 25% Energy Reduction, your attacks alone should be enough (3 attacks or 1.5sec to regain Energy for the next Bone Piercer), and to let Vigor Talent run as a passive bonus for more chance to spam Rend skills.

   – Bone Piercer = Auto-cast (Combo Point exceeds 5)

   – This is your main DPS and burst skill, best used once Combo Points are maxed (5) because this consumes Energy per cast.
   – Each Combo Points increases damage by 25% (30% if Sharp Blade talent is learned).

   – Blind Escape = Manual for timing (or Auto-cast if you like)

   – Low DPS skill, Target’s HIT rate -20% for 3 seconds.
   – Moves your assassin backward, lowering DPS potential, unless used as an escape mechanism. Best paired with Shadow Flash skill to go back quickly to your target.    – Recommendation: Better replace this skill with Skill Book skills.

   – Shadow Flash = Manual for timing (or Auto-cast if you like)

   – Low DPS but still a nice skill to close distances, also increases your DODGE by 20% for 3 seconds (6 seconds total if 2nd charge is used after 3 sec).

   – Recommendation: Get this skill to get some quick Combo Points (learn Track talent), use right after using Bone Piercer.

   – Fatal Strike = Manual for timing

   – Low DPS, long CD. This skill also consumes Combo Points, so it will disrupt your DPS.
   – Recommendation: Optional for PVP (replace Blind Escape, use right after Bone Piercer) if you don’t have Salve Skill Book yet.    – Also good if you are still weak for PVP, stun enemies to help your teammates. At 5 Combo Points you can daze targets (except Bosses) up to 4.5sec!    – Please note that these are just suggestions, you are free to mix and match according to your play-style or preference (including PVP). Just remember that you need to balance your Energy gain and Skill usage to maintain high DPS.    – Test them by entering Team Instances and Bosses that you can solo for example.    – Lvl 30: Gear Up = To reduce Rend‘s energy requirement from 180 to 130.
   – Lvl 35: Sharp Blade = Combo Points damage bonus will increase from 25% to 30%.

   – Lvl 40: Vigor = Must have talent to avoid losing any Combo Points! (Note that without this Talent, you will lose all Combo Points if not increased after 20sec). This will also give you 1 Combo Point every 10sec and 30 Energy per sec!

   – Lvl 45: Track = Nice Talent to gain more Combo Points! Best used after using Bone Piercer.

   – Lvl 50: Raid = Gives your Bone Piercer some bonus damage if Raid Effect is active (lasts 10 seconds after using Bone Piercer).

   – Lvl 50: Salve Master = Alternative Talent to get once you are able to get a Salve (Skill Book).    – 2 optional skills that can be learned after obtaining their Skill Books, tap “Source” in-game to check how to get them. Experiment together with your existing skills, and use if you like.
   – TIP: Save your Gold to buy these items from the Store > Trading if you can’t get them from drops.    – Excellent Skill Book for Assassins!
   – Learn Salve Master talent and replace Blind Escape/Fatal Strike Skill with this one.
   – This is a nice skill if done right, but it’s potential is only limited if your Assassin is dying…    – Please note that these are just suggestions, you are free to mix and match according to your play-style or preference (including PVP). Just remember that you need to balance your Energy gain and Skill usage to maintain high DPS.

   – NOTE: Due to the current PVP matching system, it’s better to wait until your Lvl is high enough to get better chances of winning, but at least do some PVP tasks to get rewards.
